Abigail Blenkin

Abigail is the project manager working on our Papua New Guinea programme, with a focus on supporting partners and managing peacebuilding work in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.

Prior to joining Conciliation Resources in September 2020, Abigail volunteered in Timor-Leste with the Centre of Studies for Peace and Development (CEPAD), where she implemented their anti-corruption program and designed Freedom of Information and youth civic engagement projects. Abigail also worked at the World Bank as a project team assistant on Pacific Islands health and fisheries programs, and supported the development of the World Bank’s five year country partnership framework for engagement in Pacific Islands countries.

Abigail studied a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Anthropology and a Master in Peace and Conflict Studies, both from the University of Sydney.

Abigail is fluent in English and Portuguese, and speaks conversational Tetum.
