Teduray Lambangian Women's Organization (TLWOI)

The Teduray Lambangian Women´s Organisation (TLWOI), established in 2001, is a federation of 35 community-based women’s organisations of indigenous peoples in the province of Maguindanao. TLWOI supports the women of the Teduray, Lambangian and Dulangan Manobo indigenous groups, to promote and develop their indigenous cultures, including their rights to inclusion in decision-making processes, community development projects, and justice and peace. TLWOI is a partner in the current PEaCE for Good Governance project, working in six barangays in the municipalities of North and South Upi in Maguindanao.
Froilyn Mendoza, the head of TLWOI, is a member of the Transition Commission which implements the 2012 Framework peace Agreement on the Bangsamoro.
