Regional Programmes

Our work focuses on a number of different conflicts and situations, covering seven regions. Every conflict is uniquely complex, so we always work with our partners on the ground to analyse and understand the dynamics in each region, and tailor our responses.

Programme

South Caucasus

In the South Caucasus, we work in the Georgian-Abkhaz and Armenian-Azerbaijani conflicts to create an environment in which progress towards peace is possible.

Programme

East and Central Africa

In East and Central Africa, we focus on peacebuilding in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the intercommunal conflict in the Central African Republic, and the political crisis in South Sudan.

Programme

Horn of Africa

We support local, national and cross-border peacebuilding in the Horn of Africa including better co-ordination and collaboration between peacebuilding interventions and institutions at the different levels.

Programme

Pacific

We have been working in the Pacific region for over 20 years. We have programmes in multiple parts of the Pacific region, with our work varying from supporting community peacebuilding efforts to promoting comparative learning on shared conflict issues, such as climate change and conflict.

Programme

South Asia

In South Asia, we work on both sides of the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and in Afghanistan. In these regions, we support local initiatives to promote opportunities for building peace and trust in the region.

Programme

Southeast Asia

We work with communities affected by violence in the Philippines to promote a peaceful transition away from conflict.

Programme

West Africa

We work in Nigeria and the Mano River region, developing community-led peacebuilding initiatives which put the people most affected by conflicts at the center of efforts to resolve them.
