Shradha Gale explains that backlash against inclusion that has gathered momentum as the peace process has progressed. Initial post-war gains in advancing inclusion have been eroded by traditional political parties, and supporters of the new political parties to emerge from peace agreement, such as the Maoists and the Madhesis, increasingly perceive their parties to have abandoned the inclusion agenda.
