This article by Kristian Herbolzheimer of Conciliation Resources analyses the challenges and opportunities in the Mindanao peace process.

It emphasises that a peace agreement does not signify the end of a conflict. It is just one element in a far longer process and needs ownership from the people, otherwise it is unlikely to be successfully implemented.
