Yahoska joined Conciliation Resources in October 2019 as Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL). She leads on the design and management of Conciliation Resources’ systems, skills and approach to monitoring, evaluation and learning. She also supports Conciliation Resources' staff and partner organisations to integrate inclusive learning-oriented MEL systems across their peacebuilding work. 

Yahoska brings expertise in providing strategic guidance to organisations for the design and implementation of inclusive MEL systems for complex social change programmes, particularly in the areas of peacebuilding, inclusion, water and sanitation, climate change mitigation, gender equality & youth empowerment.

Before joining CR she set up and managed the organisational MEL strategy and systems for a global disabilities organisation’s programmes in South Asia, East Africa and Latin America. Before that, she worked for a UK-based international development organisation leading their water and sanitation, and climate change adaptation work in Nicaragua. Working in conjunction with partner organisations to innovate programmatic strategies to influence the water and sanitation sector by incorporating an entrepreneurial element which ensures longer term sustainability and measurable impact. She has also worked as a consultant to United Nations’ programmes and non-government organisations working on MEL, governance and climate change adaptation. 

She holds an MSc from UCL in Globalisation and Latin American Development for which she conducted research with civil society and international development organisation on women’s participation in NGO’s evaluation and accountability systems. She is also qualified lawyer specialising in international and taxes law.
