Michael joined in April 2019 as Director of Finance. He has over twenty years’ experience in senior roles within international development organisations. His passion for international development steered him into Finance Director as well as Programme leadership assignments in Senegal, Malawi and Kenya. More recently he spent a year with CARE Australia in PNG working as Assistant Country Director.

During his career, Michael has led finance teams in several organisations including Womankind Worldwide, Plan UK, Christian Aid and Marie Stopes International. He also previously worked as Senior Director for Finance & Operations at Amnesty International (International Secretariat) in the UK. Prior to joining Conciliation Resources, he worked as Interim Finance Director for Comic Relief UK.

Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Post Graduate qualification in Charity Finance. He is an alumnus of the Executive Leadership Programme for Non-Profits at Stanford Graduate Business School, USA.
