Nicola has extensive experience working in youth development with newly arrived families in Australia. Having taught sociology, youth work and international development at University level, she has also worked in refugee camp contexts in Africa and in leadership positions in community-based organisations in Australia. Nicola has a Masters of International Development at RMIT University where her dissertation explored art based expressions of political agency in post conflict environments.
