Diana has governance experience of each of the private, public and third sectors. She was a senior litigation partner with Linklaters international law firm, a part time judge sitting in the criminal courts, and an accredited mediator. 

Since 2008 she has worked in international development: as a founder Commissioner of the aid watchdog, the Independent Commission for Aid Impact, scrutinising the impact of UK government aid expenditure; as Specialist Adviser to the International Development Committee in the UK parliament; as governance adviser to various NGOs; and has governance experience as a trustee of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, the Access to Justice Foundation, the Advisory Council of A4ID, and as chair of the Mary Ward Settlement.

Diana became a trustee of Conciliation Resources in 2016, and was appointed as Chair in 2021.
