Callum is our Africa Department Officer, covering the Horn of Africa, East and Central Africa and West Africa.

Previously, Callum provided programmatic support to the Accord, Policy and Learning team, assisting with Conciliation Resources' research, evaluation and policy endeavours. Prior to joining CR in 2019, he worked on a number of conflict-education and peacebuilding projects in Latin America and the Middle East, as well as having over 6 years local government service in both frontline and business development roles.

Callum holds a BA in Conflict, Peace and Security and an MA in International Conflict Analysis, for which he conducted fieldwork-based research in Israel and Palestine, examining the utility of bicommunal grassroots peacebuilding initiatives. In addition to English he speaks Spanish and is currently learning Levantine Arabic.
