Amie Kirkham is the Papua New Guinea Project Manager at Conciliation Resources and has worked with Conciliation Resources since 2016. She manages Conciliation Resources' peacebuilding programme in Papua New Guinea, which focuses on building capacities of communities to respond to conflict, facilitating dialogue and collaboration between power holders and different peacebuilding groups, supporting ex-combatant engagement and transition as well as providing support for ministerial-level dialogue processes. Previously, Amie was a Programme Coordinator at the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS) in Cambodia where her role focused on facilitating dialogue, conducting peace research, and implementing programming to support the Myanmar peace process.
Amie holds a Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (NCPACS) at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Additional areas of research focus are on natural resource and tribal-based conflict in Papua New Guinea.
