Truthloader: Violence in CAR - The Central African Republic conflict 'is not a religious one'

The narrative in the mainstream coverage of the Central African Republic crisis has been one of religious conflict - but according to Caesar Nyeko Poblicks, Projects Manager for East and Central Africa at Conciliation Resources, this is a worrying oversimplification. He argues that while the violence in CAR has taken place along religious lines, the causes and motivations behind it are political and economic. He argues that the oversimplification of the conflict could have damaging consequences on the recovery of the country.
