This memorandum was submitted by Conciliation Resources and others, as part of Northern Uganda Advocacy Partnership for Peace, to the UK Parliament’s International Development Committee inquiry on the prospects for sustainable peace in Uganda.

The document sets out responses to questions such as 'What has been the impact of the International Criminal Court arrest warrants on the prospects for peace?' and 'Is there a tension between the needs for peace and the requirements for justice and if so how can it be best addressed?'.  It also sets out views on methods for tackling justice and reconciliation.
