Crisis in Georgia: Recommendations and principles

A list of fundamental principles compiled by Conciliation Resources after the August 2008 war in order to start rebuilding trust and to get the peace process back on track. 

The recommendations include: acknowledging human rights laws; promoting accountability for civilian deaths; concluding a ceasefire agreement; and involving all relevant parties, especially unrecognised groups, in peacekeeping processes.
