Our work

Conciliation Resources has over 15 years of experience working with people affected by war and armed conflict around the world. We work in partnership with local and international civil society groups to prevent violence, promote justice and build lasting peace.

Countries and regions

We focus on the Georgian-Abkhaz and Nagorny Karabakh conflicts, supporting people working for lasting peace and change within their societies and across the conflict divides. Our work includes dialogue and analysis, working with the media and strengthening civil society groups. Read more

Uganda, southern Sudan and Democratic Republic of the Congo borders

We work with partners in the region trying to peacefully end the 24-year war between the Lord’s Resistance Army and the Ugandan government, which affects northern Uganda, Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic. By strengthening local peacebuilding efforts we can help pinpoint and deal with issues that fuel this conflict. Read more...
