Working in partnership on the Nagorny Karabakh conflict
Conciliation Resources (CR) is working with various national and international partners as part of the UK government-funded Consortium Initiative addressing the conflict over the territory of Nagorny Karabakh in the South Caucasus.
International partners on the Consortium Initiative
A coalition of three international NGOs is each responsible for a separate strand of work on this project.
- Conciliation Resources - focusing on media and public awareness work and creating platforms for strategic thinking
- International Alert - focusing on strengthening civil society engagement in the peace process
- London Information Network on Conflicts and State-building (LINKS) – focusing on engagement with parliamentarians and officials in the formal process and promoting their contact with civil society]

Conciliation Resources’ regional project partners
- BBC Russian Service Karabakh - its web page gave Armenians and Azerbaijanis an opportunity to come together to discuss issues about Nagorny Karabakh
- Institute of Peace and Democracy - Azerbaijani partner in the newspaper exchange project
- Internews Armenia - works with Internews Azerbaijan and the Stepanakert Press Club to provide training on programme-making to young TV journalists in Azerbaijan and Nagorny Karabakh through the Dialogue through Film Project.
- Internews Azerbaijan - coordinated the production of Azeri language radio programmes for communities displaced by the conflict and works with Internews Armenia and the Stepanakert Press Club to provide training on programme-making to young TV journalists in Azerbaijan and Nagorny Karabakh through the Dialogue through Film Project.
- Region research centre - Armenian partner in the newspaper exchange project
- Society for Humanitarian Research - has produced a book documenting media and political coverage in Azerbaijan of the conflict over Nagorny Karabakh
- Stepanakert Press Club – for six years produced the most widely read newspaper in Nagorny-Karabakh, Demo, and was a partner in the South Caucasus Radio Diaries project. It currently works with Internews Armenia and Internews Azerbaijan on the Dialogue through Film project
