Issue editor and Conciliation Resources Caucasus Programme co-Director Jonathan Cohen collaborated with  several institutions in Georgia and Abkhazia in the production of A question of sovereignty: the Georgia - Abkhazia peace process (Accord issue 7, 1999).

The launch of the issue was marked by a round table discussion at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, in December 1999, and radio broadcasts on the BBC World Service with Georgian and Abkhazian contributors.
