Local communities affected by the Lord's Resisitance Army in the eastern part of the Democractic Republic of Congo are trying to cope with an influx of LRA returnees. The re-integration of these former LRA fighters is made difficult due to a lack of resources.

Journalist Laura Angela Bagnetto of Radio France International spoke to Father Ernest Sugule, a peace mediator from Dungu, DRC, working with Conciliation Resources, about how repairing the fragile community structure is vital.
