Celebrating a decade of peacebuilding In November 2006 we celebrated our 10-year anniversary with an event at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office on why peacebuilding works. Speakers included Dr Kim Howells, Minister of State (FCO) and our executive director Andy Carl.

Uganda-Sudan peacebuilding workshop In August 2006 more than 110 cultural and religious leaders and other civil society representatives met in Juba, southern Sudan at a workshop organized by Conciliation Resources and local partners. Follow-up work has strengthened relationships across the Uganda-Sudan border and given local people a louder voice in calling for peace between the LRA and Ugandan government.
