East and Central Africa Projects Manager
Full-time, London-based with regular travel
£37,726 plus pension
Closing date: 9am Monday 6 September 2010
Interviews: week commencing 29 September 2010
The French-speaking projects manager will support CR's peacebuilding and outreach work and develop projects that pursue constructive approaches to addressing conflicts in the LRA affected areas of CAR, DRC, Sudan and Uganda. The postholder will make regular field visits, providing support to partner organisations in the region.
Candidates should have knowledge of conflict systems in Central and East Africa and at least two year's experience of working in conflict transformation or a related field. They should have a proven track record in project management and coordinating work on multiple projects with a range of contacts in conditions of current or recent conflict. Fluent French and English are required for this role.
